Description
The data set draws primarily from Local Action Plan for Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction (RAD GRK), and Medium Term Local Development Plans (RPJMD) of each province in Indonesia. These documents are obtained from Indonesian national and regional government agencies, including the Secretariat of National Action Plan for Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction (Sekretariat RAN GRK), the National Development Planning Agency (BAPPENAS), and the Provincial Development Planning Agencies (BAPPEDA). The historical emission dataset uses information reported in SIGN SMART (National Greenhouse Gas Inventory System) by Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK).

The data set draws primarily from Local Action Plan for Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction (RAD-GRK) and Medium Term Local Development Plans (RPJMD) of each province in Indonesia, as well as the National Greenhouse Gas Inventory System (SIGN SMART). For a complete list of downloadable RAD GRK please go to: http://www.wri.org/resources/data-sets/cait-indonesia-climate-data-explorer-pindai-data. Cautions
Due to the varied quality of data sources for Indonesian provinces, there are certain limitations of the Indonesia Climate Data Explorer, particularly on the quantitative side. In addition, not all RAD-GRKs are accessible by the public on the Sekretariat RAN-GRK website. During data collection, many RAD-GRK documents had to be obtained by directly inquiring to BAPPENAS through e-mail. All those documents are available for download here. For full discussion of methodology and limitations of the data, please refer to the accompanying technical note http://www.wri.org/publication/indonesian-climate-policy-and-data-cait-indonesia-climate-data-explorer-pindai .
